The Words are an indie rock band from Manchester influenced by the likes of The Strokes and Kings of Leon. Having built up an excellent reputation as a hard working band with a phenomenal live set The Words are looking to capitilise on their excellent feedback and ever growing fan base with their first chart eligible single 'FAG' 'FAG', so called due to the major chord structure in the song, has always been a fan favorite and was the perfect choice to release as The Words first official single due to the high energy and powerful vocals that embodies The Words sound. 'FAG' will be released on the 11th of January 2010 on all major download sites (Itunes, Amazon, Spotify and more) and is also available to pre-order via SMS. 'I Just Wanna Dance' will be the singles b-side.
