Pockit Records is pleased to announce the release of "Out There" by Michael DeVellis. This release shows off the more sultry, loungy side of Michael's music. The title track "Out There" features lush harmonies orchestrated to ever build and evolve as the piece progresses. The strings and vocals create a very pensive and surreal feeling while the drums hold a truly thick groove. "Wandering" is another downtempo selection that features the amazing talent of guitarist Joe Keith. Joe starts the track with a truly eerie line and then drops a virtuosic solo that takes the listener to the climax of the piece. "Slowin' Down" is more of a groove based chill out track. You can hear Mike DeVellis playing flute, trumpet, sax and keys on this one. The main line is reminiscent of a vintage groove from decades back.
