Well, what a month April was! With two back-to-back public holiday weekends here in the UK, and the subsequent three short weeks, you'd be forgiven for thinking that nothing else had been going on in the world, other than royal weddings! Although it has lead to our blog being late (opps, sorry!) this is not entirely the case here at AheadPR Towers...

We have in fact been hard at it this month, working on 7 client releases, strengthening our affiliate marketing programme, developing new partnerships with music industry brands that can benefit our clients and we even managed to attend the first ever, and quite brilliant, MusicConnex Event too. 

April was a great month, musically, and we worked with some very exciting artists and labels on some fantastic releases. We even had the pleasure of helping launch the long-awaited comeback album from the chart-smashing iiO on Made Records!   

Other very notable campaigns were those for Shareholder Tom, Candy Rose, Stilohertz & Sista Flow and Daviddance, Jaidene Veda on Stilnovo Music, Zagar on Mole Listening Pearls, Ping Trace on Terraform Records and Poussez on Champion Standard.

 

Partners - Now, we mentioned above that we have been working very hard this month on finding suitable music industry partners who can offer services that assist our clients, our blog readers, our newsletter receivers and those on our PR database too. The reason for this is simple... every single day we get tons of emails and queries from artists, labels and talent management agencies asking if we can assist with projects like web design, running social media networks, look at styling and imaging for new acts, organise sync deals, handle distribution etc. etc. So, due to the level of enquiries we get, we have decided to track down the very best brands in all areas of the music business, highlight their offering and, where applicable, negotiate deals to ensure all clients get the best deals. Keep an eye out for info on some amazing partners, coming soon!        

And finally, the team here want to give quick 'shout out' to Jon Mansfield, Faron Mckenzie and all the team at MusicConnex, for putting on an amazing industry event that we were invited to a few weeks back. The three day event, held at the brilliant Kings Place in London, was the inaugural outing for what is sure to become London's premier DIY Music and New Media seminar. Over the three days we met some amazing people, from every conceivable area of the business and even attended a few workshops and discussion panels from the likes of Youtube, Facebook, MTV, Spotify, PRS ,PPL and too many more to mention! We can not highly recommend this event enough, whether you are starting out or a seasoned pro and, when it returns next year, if you miss, you will certainly miss out!
