Press release After many years Meienberg decided to go solo again. This vinyl is probably clearing the way for more songs to be destilled out of the many ideas he has about music. Rapid Cycling is a colourful kaleidoscope; the songs root mainly in electronic music but within that range they escape most of the possible labels. Meienberg plays with structures, references, sounds, his voice and has his own way with it all. Best is, to put it on the record player and go for a stroll in the genuinely changeable moods of Meienbergs sound building. Take the elevator to the floor with the heavy cases, folllow the fireladder down to meet the drifters and don‘t miss the date for the melancholic romance in the starlight suite before you say goodnight to the true lunatics. Biography Born 1973 in Switzerland Meienberg soon found himself attracted to cool suaveness and crazed out freakishness all to be found in music. In young years he had good fun beeing a frontman in two bands, writing, playing and singing his own songs and perfoming them with verve. Coming from this live experience he got interested in the digital world of electronic music and spent over ten years studying the matter from scratch. He contributed his music to different compilations, had his go on a variety of remixes, released four records as a member of the duo Everest and thus played many gigs. He composed music for dance theaters and short films and is also one of the heads of Everestrecords based in Switzerland. Biography download
